Hair Conditioners

Hair conditioner is a hair care product that improves the texture and appearance of human hair. Hair conditioners fall into different groups according to what you want to accomplish with your hair. Just as the skin requires moisturizers to counteract the ill effects of pollution and UV rays, similarly hair requires conditioners. So we can say that conditioners are to hair what moisturizers are to skin. Conditioning hair is the flip side of shampooing- you concentrate your efforts on the ends of the hair where your hair needs the most moisture. Using a shampoo with conditioner is not just enough to condition your hair, you need to use a separate conditioner - if you want best results. Remember that the protective effect of a conditioner lasts only until the next shampoo. Hence, you must apply a conditioner regularly after each shampoo. Our Hair conditioners are made with natural emollient ingredients that help to smooth erratic cuticles and soften the hair leaving it tangle free. Despite commercial promises, conditioners can't mend split ends. What they can do is coat the hair shaft, cut down on static and ease tangling. Hair conditioners also smooth the scale-like cuticles so they lie in one direction, thus making the hair look shiny.

As we have seen, most standard shampoos contain a certain amount of conditioning agents, so conditioning happens during shampooing anyway. Hair conditioners are generally formulated to maintain hair's softness. In the recent years however, manufacturers have developed an entire line of conditioning products to specifically treat individual needs. The two most commonly known, are leave-in and rinse-out conditioners. However there are also conditioners designed to strengthen hair, add extra volume to fine or limp hair, help repair and prevent split ends, for blow dryer use, and help to maintain permed or color-treated hair.
